Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it. Written to be read rather than to be legally exhaustive.
What we collect
Only what an order or an enquiry needs. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking on this site.

Why we collect it
To fulfil your order, to answer your question, and to send the newsletter if you asked for it. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you. Order details are shared with a courier only when a courier is delivering your order, and only the name, address and phone number needed to make the delivery.
How long we keep it
- Orders: seven years, because tax and warranty records require it.
- Contact messages: two years, then deleted.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Cart contents: in your browser until you clear it or check out.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It uses two things stored in your browser: a session cookie that keeps your connection to the server alive while you use the site, and a local storage entry that remembers your cart. Clearing your browser data removes both, and the site will still work.
Payment data
We do not currently take payment online, so no card details pass through this site or reach our database. When a payment gateway is added, card details will go directly to the payment provider and will not be stored by us.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion requests are honoured except where we are legally required to keep order records for the seven-year period above. We will respond within 30 days.

Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Order and contact data is held in our own database with access limited to staff who need it to do their job. Cart data stored in your browser is encrypted by the application before it is written, so another site cannot read it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or why, we will update this page and change the date below. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
