Fault finding

Diagnostics

Parasitic drains, intermittent faults, and the ones that only happen when it rains.

Typical duration: 90 minutes upward
Booking: Usually same week
Warranty: 90 days on the repair

We trace the circuit rather than swapping parts until the symptom stops. That means measuring current draw at the fuse box, back-probing connectors under load, and following the loom to where it actually fails, which is usually a chafe point or a corroded earth rather than the component everyone suspects.

Power

Electrical systems

Dual-battery setups, DC-DC charging, isolation and distribution.

Typical duration: Half day to two days
Booking: One to two weeks ahead
Warranty: 24 months, parts and labour

A second battery is only useful if it charges properly and cannot flatten the starter. We size the cable for the actual run, fuse it at both ends, and choose between a voltage-sensitive relay and a DC-DC charger based on what your alternator actually does rather than on what is cheapest to fit.

Light

Lighting

Auxiliary bars, pods, work lights and full replacement lamps.

Typical duration: Two hours upward

Aiming is the part most installers skip. We set beam pattern against a wall at a measured distance, so the light lands where it is useful instead of into oncoming traffic or onto your own bonnet. Anything switched from the cabin is wired through a relay on its own fused circuit, not spliced into an existing feed.

Installation

Anything we sell, fitted by the people who sold it.

Typical duration: Two hours to two days
Booking: Same week on stocked parts
Warranty: 24 months, parts and labour

Every hole we drill is one we would drill in our own vehicle: deburred, treated and sealed. Cable passing through a panel gets a proper gland rather than a grommet and hope. If we think a part is wrong for your vehicle we will say so before we start, not after.
